The American company renews its desktop model with a 21.5-inch 4K opens a Retina screen and higher, 27 inches, which includes a 5K resolution.
Faster, more powerful and sharper screen. Apple on Tuesday announced the renewal of its iMac desktop computers, which will have several versions depending on the quality of the screen and the size of it.
Thus, the firm Cupertino (California) has a 21.5-inch model, which incorporates technology Retina display with a resolution of 4K (4,096 x 2,304 pixels), while the top model, 27-inch screen will be expanded 5K with promises that the images "come alive".
Another new feature is the control system using the keyboard and mouse, both remodeled with a new design, more ergonomic and which includes a rechargeable battery. It also has a new Magic Trackpad (a surface 29% larger) integrated, which already includes the Force Touch technology, which allows you to interact with the computer depending on the pressure fingers.
Both models also incorporate more powerful processors and graphics, with two Thunderbolt 2 ports and new storage options that put the Fusion Drive configuration with high performance. For the 21.5-inch iMac, this version offers a resolution of 9.4 million pixels (4.5 times more than the standard 21.5-inch model), while the 27-inch model comes with a 14.7 million pixel (7 times more than HD) monitor.
In terms of performance, the iMac comes with Retina display 5K Intel sixth generation Core processors and the latest AMD high-performance graphics, offering up to 3.7 teraflops of computing power, mientars the 21.5-inch iMac features a processor fifth generation Intel Core and Intel Iris Pro graphics Graphics improved. Conm all, it offers a new configuration which combines a 1TB hard drive with 24 GB of flash memory.
